The role is a permanent, professional-level position in Albacete, Spain, within the cyber security job family.

You would join the digital security and defence team, which designs and delivers the cyber security solutions that protect the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and tune log forwarding pipelines, data parsing and SIEM infrastructure so that on-premises and cloud environments are fully visible.
• Design, build, test and refine high-fidelity SOC detection rules and automated playbooks that cut false positives and improve incident detection.
• Give hands-on, continuous support to SOC analysts during their daily operational work.
• Help drive the SOC strategy and architecture, keeping technical integrations aligned with changing business and security needs.
• Bring AI technologies into use as part of the fast-moving shift in cyber security.

Requirements

• 3+ years in cyber security, with solid technical knowledge of SOC tools, SIEM, XDR and EPP architecture, log management and detection engineering platforms.
• A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or a related field. A master's degree specialised in cyber security is preferred.
• English at a professional level, spoken and written, is mandatory for working in international, cross-functional teams.
• A proven ability to turn complex technical problems into clear, actionable points for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• An analytical, problem-solving approach, high engagement, a strong drive to learn and a collaborative style.
• An awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity.

Conditions

Permanent contract.

This position will require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance from the recognised authorities.
