Description

The company provides thermal management, mission-critical building systems, and energy efficiency and decarbonization services that help customers use less energy and cut carbon emissions.

Its customers include data centers, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, and higher education, where systems must run with precision and resilience.

The company has been operating for more than 140 years and combines advanced technology, lifecycle services, and a large field organization.

Responsibilities

  • You will help deliver security and fire systems that protect people, property, and operations, working with customers, field teams, and subcontractors from estimating through closeout.
  • You will be accountable for the profitable running of your assigned projects, covering delivery, estimating, and financial management.
  • You will manage the technical and commercial sides of the work, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, network commissioning, and closeout, keeping scope, schedule, cost, and safety in check.
  • You will lead assigned projects from planning and estimating through delivery, commissioning, and closeout, or delegate parts of that work.
  • You will prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project management plans that follow standard procedures.
  • You will track cash flow, billings, costs, and gross margin, and report on financial performance.
  • You will log every scope change and make sure change orders are documented and approved before work goes ahead.
  • You will choose, order, and schedule delivery of the materials each project needs.
  • You will negotiate and issue subcontracts and keep good working relationships with subcontractors.
  • You will coordinate customers, subcontractors, technicians, installers, designers, and management across the whole project.
  • You will report project status, forecasts, and risks to management promptly and clearly.
  • You will arrange customer training, documentation, and manuals so handover goes smoothly.
  • You will apply site safety and security procedures and support the safety program for company staff and subcontractors on site.
  • You will spend time on the jobsite, understand the full scope, and deal with problems before they affect delivery.
  • You will clear obstacles quickly, keep priorities clear, and make decisions that protect schedule, margin, and customer commitments.
  • You will keep communication direct and open with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams so changes, risks, and approvals move without delay.
  • You will learn from project problems, tighten controls, and use continuous improvement to strengthen how projects are run.
  • You will coordinate field, technical, commercial, and customer stakeholders so the project moves forward safely and steadily.

Requirements

  • You think strategically and lead well.

  • You have strong organizational and time management skills and can adjust when priorities change.
  • You put customer satisfaction first.
  • You hold a university degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience, plus at least 3 years of experience.
