Channel Sales Engineer

Description

The role sits within the channel sales team as a technical and conceptual sales support contact for customers and partners.

The company is a cybersecurity vendor that protects organisations from cyber and AI-driven threats, covering hybrid networks, cloud, digital workspaces and AI systems with a prevention-first approach.

The team works closely with sales representatives and is active at IT security events and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical and conceptual support contact for sales.
• Support customers and partners on technical matters.
• Help grow existing and new accounts alongside sales reps.
• Write responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Deliver training updates, seminars and workshops for key partners and prospects.
• Give product and solution presentations.
• Take part in IT security events and trade shows.

Requirements

• Good understanding of the distribution partner landscape.
• At least 5 years working as a sales engineer in a vendor or partner setting.
• Knowledge of security environments and Check Point technologies.
• Familiarity with networking technologies.
• Experience running POCs and demos.
• Good understanding of customer environments.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Experience working with end users.
• A steady drive to keep learning.
