Description

The company works on guidance, navigation and control systems for national security programs, with a team in Chandler, AZ.

Interim Secret clearance is required before you start.

Travel is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, put in place, verify and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains.
• Run 6 degree of freedom (6DoF) simulations to design and test missile flight code.
• Use 6DoF simulation models to assess system performance.
• Apply your knowledge of missile flight dynamics, autopilot design and guidance design when putting them into missile flight code.
• Work with various trajectory optimization software and tools.
• Be an active, integral part of your team and bring your enthusiasm to new ideas.
• Help build and deploy technology that supports national security, working with agility, flexibility and collaboration to test creative approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of professional experience for Level 1.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 1 year, for Level 2.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year, for Level 3.
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years, for Level 4.
• The company will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in place of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and keep a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Direct experience in Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC).
• Preferred: a Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Preferred: Top Secret clearance.

The role is 100% on-site in Chandler, AZ.

Primary level salary range is $65,800.00 to $184,200.00.

Secondary level salary range is $0.00 to $0.00.

The salary range is a general guide. Final base pay depends on the scope of the role and your experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
