Business Intelligence Intern

The company is a global automation technology business. Its work helps manufacturers become more productive, sustainable and agile.

This is a Finance BI internship in the Finance BI team. You will learn by working on business intelligence and analytics projects alongside experienced BI, data, IT and finance staff.

Tools you will use include Microsoft Power BI (including semantic models), Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft AI capabilities: Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and GitHub Copilot.

You will report to the Finance Data Solutions Lead.

Responsibilities

• Help design and build modern self-service dashboards and reports for different teams.
• Build your understanding of company data, semantic models and the reporting environment.
• Use Microsoft AI tools to speed up development, automate routine work and add natural-language analytics.
• Help keep BI solutions secure, reliable and easy to use, in line with company standards.
• Work with BI and Data Science colleagues on AI and machine learning solutions.
• Support user testing, collect feedback and help refine the solutions.

Requirements

• You are a student in Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• You can work at least 20 hours per week, scheduled around your classes.

Conditions

The role is hybrid, with the office in Katowice.

Employees are expected to be on site at a company location on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless a business commitment takes them elsewhere.
