Business Insights Developer

Description

The role sits within the company's Business Intelligence team. The company works in health, and this position builds reporting and data tools for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Build ETL processes in SQL Server and SSIS at an advanced level.
• Develop advanced solutions in SAP Business Objects.
• Design data models and data warehouses at an advanced level.
• Deliver solutions to internal and external clients as Excel files, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects Enterprise outputs.
• Work with infrastructure, networking, and web application development teams to design BI solutions for internal and external use.
• Set up standard, repeatable methods with the technical team for pulling data from several sources.
• Train end users on the analytical tools the BI team builds.
• Write functional and technical documents.
• Analyze large data sets and produce brief, focused reports for clients.
• Take on other duties as they come up.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in information systems, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• Have 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in business analytics roles.
• Have advanced working knowledge of MS Office, SQL, Business Objects, and Crystal Reports.
