Description

The team is looking for a brand design lead who pairs creative leadership with strong people and project management skills.

You report to the Head of Design and lead a mixed group of 3D and motion artists, video artists, graphic designers and a web designer.

You own creative direction and delivery for every non-product channel: campaigns, the website, social media, 3D and motion assets, educational content and physical event booths.

The role mixes management with art direction. You build the team, take projects from brief to release, and set the visual vision across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and grow a team of 8 designers across 3D and motion, video, graphic and web design.
  • Set goals and expectations, hold regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews, give feedback, and write development plans for each person.
  • Recruit, onboard and keep strong talent as the team expands.
  • Foster a team culture built on ownership, craft, open feedback and creative growth, and deal with burnout and conflict early.
  • Define the creative direction and maintain the brand identity system, including the Brand Book, typography, 3D design language and motion identity.
  • Make sure the brand looks premium and consistent everywhere, from a social carousel to a trade-show booth.
  • Run creative reviews, give specific feedback, and approve all material before it goes out.
  • Bring generative AI into team workflows and build templates and asset libraries that speed up production.
  • Work with the Product Design Lead and Design System Designer to keep brand assets, 3D libraries, icons and color tokens aligned with the unified Design System.
  • Take brand design projects end to end, from brief and planning through execution to release.
  • Plan team capacity, set priorities, assign tasks and manage timelines across several projects at once.
  • Improve team processes, including intake and briefing, task tracking, review and approval flows, and stakeholder SLAs.
  • Track risks, dependencies and deadlines, and escalate or re-prioritize when needed.
  • Serve as the main contact for Marketing, Product, Events and C-level leadership on brand design work.
  • Gather and clarify briefs, set expectations, negotiate priorities and keep everyone aligned.
  • Present and defend creative concepts to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in visual or brand design, including 3+ years leading a team of 5+ people as a Design Lead, Art Director or Creative Lead, in FinTech, Crypto, Tech or top-tier creative agencies.
  • Proven people management: hiring, 1-on-1s, performance reviews, development plans and building team culture.
  • Strong project management: planning, prioritization, capacity management and handling several projects in parallel.
  • Experience managing stakeholders at every level, including C-level, while balancing competing priorities.
  • A strong portfolio of brand identity systems, campaigns, and 3D and motion work that you and your team led.
  • Solid working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), plus an understanding of 3D and video production pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative production.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing formats, web constraints, and print and environmental specs for event booths.
  • Strong taste for composition, typography and color, and the ability to turn complex trading, financial and Web3 topics into clear visual stories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the confidence to defend your creative decisions.
  • Proficient English (B2 level), written and spoken.
  • Will be a plus: experience in FinTech, CFD/Forex brokerages, crypto exchanges or premium luxury brands.
  • Will be a plus: experience scaling a design team or building processes from nothing.
  • Will be a plus: recognition in global design forums such as Awwwards, Behance Curated, Red Dot or similar.
