The company builds a global FinTech product. The role sits in its Core & Growth direction, in a cross-functional tribe with a product manager, a product analyst and developers.
Your design work shapes how people start using the product, how they keep their accounts safe and how they grow with it.
You will own features from problem framing through release and later iteration. The product analyst covers the numbers while you cover the qualitative side: speaking with users, testing solutions and finding out why people act as they do. You will turn these findings into clear, polished solutions for web and mobile, within the design system, aiming for measurable results for users and the company.
Responsibilities
Own the design of features in your tribe, from discovery and problem framing to the shipped solution and later iterations
Take part in discovery, planning and prioritization as a full member of the tribe
Design complex flows and interfaces, such as registration and onboarding, authentication and security settings, admin areas and partner dashboards
Plan and run qualitative research, including interviews, usability tests, session recording reviews and heatmap analysis, and turn the results into design hypotheses
Use the analyst's funnels, drop-off points and A/B test results to choose what to investigate, and find the user reasons behind the numbers
Create user flow maps, user journey maps and interactive prototypes to explore, test and explain solutions
Apply the design system's components, tokens and patterns correctly. A separate Design System Designer maintains the system.
Design for web and for iOS and Android, keeping the experience consistent and responsive on each platform
Adapt layouts and content for different regions and languages so they work in each market
Document design decisions, hand off clear specs to developers and review how the implementation turns out
