AXIS OS Software Engineer - Security, Lund

Description

The company is growing its security and network team in Lund, Sweden, and is looking for a software engineer.

The team builds embedded software that lets internal developers, partners and customers create secure streaming, analytics and advanced device management tools.

Teams are self-driven and autonomous, work toward clear goals set by a strategic roadmap and prioritized backlogs, and collaborate with other teams to test new ideas.

The company is a network video leader with about 6,000 employees in more than 50 countries, working in a friendly, open and collaborative culture.

The Lund HQ campus includes the Grenden building, which has spaces designed for collaboration, from informal fika chats to formal meetings and after-hours activities.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end security features for an embedded system running in Linux user space.
• Evaluate, review, configure, integrate and test open source components.
• Design, threat model, program, review, document and test your work.
• Share your knowledge and skills with other teams and colleagues.

Requirements

• Work mainly on security in a Linux environment, using C as your primary language.
• Have knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI).
• Be curious, willing to learn, and keen to solve problems with others.
• Pick up new technologies and tools as the work requires.
• Be newly graduated or have a few years of experience as a software engineer.
• Hold a master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
