Description

The company builds software that runs procurement, supply chain and financial workflows for contractors and distributors in construction, an industry where these processes have lagged for decades.

It has product-market fit, is backed by Insight Partners and is growing quickly.

This is a builder's role, not a role for keeping a roadmap moving. You will work with engineering, product, integration and customer-facing teams to design and improve the workflows behind purchase orders, invoice matching, job costing and ERP sync, linking field purchasing with back-office finance.

It suits someone who likes the overlap of technical systems, accounting logic and customer work, and wants to affect a large, underserved market worth billions of dollars.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product lifecycles across procurement, accounts payable and accounting integration.
  • Work through core finance logic, including 3-way matching of PO, receiving slip and invoice, job cost tracking, and general ledger and cost code mapping.
  • Turn ERP data structures and accounting rules into software features that are easy to use, working with engineering pods and integration specialists.
  • Run agile ceremonies with engineering pods, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization and retrospectives, aiming for steady, dependable delivery.
  • Convert customer and back-office needs into clear Jira backlogs and detailed functional specifications.
  • Engage engineers on data schemas, API integrations and trade-offs with real technical fluency.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for feature adoption, processing accuracy and time saved for accounting and operations staff.
  • Use AI tools to speed up discovery, requirements validation and user documentation.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years as an Associate Product Manager, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a technical solutions or implementation role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Technology Management or another quantitative field, with solid technical grounding.
  • Working knowledge of AP, Procure-to-Pay, purchase orders, invoice processing or job costing.
  • Comfortable with data mapping between systems, relational database logic and API data exchange.
  • Able to explain accounting concepts and technical logic plainly to developers and users.
  • Experienced with agile product development and keen to coordinate cross-team initiatives.
  • Thrives in a startup: adaptable, resourceful, detail-oriented and driven by impact.
  • Nice-to-Haves: hands-on experience with construction accounting platforms or mid-market and enterprise ERPs, such as Sage 100/300, QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, Viewpoint/Vista or Acumatica.
  • Nice-to-Haves: SQL skills for data analysis, log investigation or checking sync logic.
  • Nice-to-Haves: familiarity with OCR invoice capture, automated workflow rules or AI adoption in financial processes.

Benefits

  • The company is a Series A SaaS business backed by Insight Partners. Its platform has already processed billions in material purchases.
  • Your features will reach contractors across North America.
  • You will join a small, high-ownership team where ideas move quickly.
  • The work targets inefficiency in one of the world's largest industries.
