The company Financials Outbound Product Management team partners with our go-to-market (GTM) teams and Product Development to identify the most important problems to be solved. We engage directly with customers and prospects to build awareness, drive adoption, and demonstrate the value of our products.

Agentic AI is a heavy focus for our team, particularly agentic ERP and agentic finance, with the goal of delivering real value to the Office of the CFO. In this role, you’ll focus on both product growth and customer adoption, ensuring customers realize measurable value and ROI from what we build.

About the Role

Outbound Product Managers are the glue between our go-to-market teams (including Sales, Marketing, Services, and our partner ecosystem) and the teams that build the product. They combine a deep understanding of product capabilities, domain knowledge, industry trends, and competitive intelligence, along with working knowledge of machine learning, AI, and agentic automation in finance, to inform our roadmap. They drive both product growth and customer adoption, so customers and partners realize real, measurable value and ROI. We’re looking for someone who uses AI in their own day-to-day workflows, not someone who only talks about it.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the bridge between GTM teams, partners, and Product Development, translating field and customer needs into product priorities and product capabilities into compelling stories, particularly across the Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew cycle.
  • Bring early adopters into the product development flow, using their feedback to enable rapid iteration and shape features before and after launch.
  • Take a data-driven approach, using product analytics, adoption and usage metrics, competitor analysis, industry trends (including advances in AI and agentic finance), and customer insights to inform the roadmap and measure impact.
  • Use AI in your own workflows, whether for research, analysis, content creation, or prototyping, and share what you learn so it shapes how we build, position, and sell our agentic products.
  • Be the voice of our customers and apply your understanding of use cases and success outcomes to influence feature design and implementation strategy.
  • Create and publish content that communicates the “what” and “why” of our features, connecting product capabilities, including AI and agentic automation, to value for the Office of the CFO.
  • Design and execute feature adoption initiatives that drive customer ROI and ensure customers continuously realize value.
  • Craft and deliver high-quality presentations to a variety of audiences at conferences, customer visits, and during sales cycles.
  • Support industry analyst engagements to help position the company Financials as an industry leader in agentic finance.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, presales, and/or outbound product management
  • Deep understanding of the Quote to Cash process: quoting, contracts, invoicing and billing, subscription management, receivables, recurring billing models, and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Hands-on user of AI in your daily workflows, not just someone who can talk about it
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead customer engagements and present to large audiences
  • Other Qualifications
  • Understanding of the SaaS ERP sales cycle
  • Ability to articulate the value of the company’s products to C-level customers, especially the Office of the CFO
  • Working knowledge of machine learning, AI, and agentic automation in finance
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using product analytics and adoption metrics to guide decisions
  • Experience building cross-team relationships with effective outcomes, ideally including early adopter or customer feedback programs
  • Proven understanding of design thinking and the product development process
  • Ability to make tradeoff decisions, contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency, and appreciate the challenges engineering and product teams face
  • CPA is a plus

  • Our Approach to Flexible Work
  • With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
