Description

The team builds and supports large-scale software for a national intelligence program, working on system-level and mission applications.

The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving federal civilian, defense and intelligence agencies, with about 26,000 employees and operations in more than 50 countries. Its work covers AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

The role is based onsite in Herndon, Virginia, with a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build, connect, and keep up system-level and mission applications using sound engineering practice.
• Work through complex problems by weighing options with clear reasoning, then deliver solutions that fit user needs and hold up as operating conditions change.
• Meet service quality standards by resolving issues quickly and making enhancements that improve user satisfaction.
• Travel for less than 10% of the time.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise software development, coding, and software development strategy.
• 5+ years of related experience for the Principal level, or 10+ years for the SME level.
• Technical training, a certification, or a degree.
• Desired: hands-on skill with Java (JDK, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, Swing), Apache Tomcat, UML modeling, Linux, file transfer protocols, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Oracle or SQL databases, and Git.
• US citizenship is required.

You must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or be able to obtain one at that level.

Salary is likely to fall between $140,821 and $190,523. It is not guaranteed and depends on experience, geographic location, and possibly contract terms. It could fall outside this range.

Scheduled hours are 40 per week, with onsite work in Herndon, VA.
