Description

Doctors are overworked and burning out, and many are leaving the profession.

The company is building an AI scribe that handles medical documentation, and it pairs clinician-first thinking with current AI and fast execution.

Since May 2023 the product has 26,000 paying clinicians, generates 100,000 patient notes a day and over 3 million per month.

Backed by Sequoia Capital and other venture investors, the company is building patient-facing assistants, patient insights, EHR integrations and more, and thousands of clinicians already use some of these every day.

The company wants people who move fast, think like founders and want to win.

This is an internal GTM Engineer role. You will build and maintain the integrations, workflows and tools used by the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Support, onboarding, Finance and Analytics teams.

You will work with internal users to understand what they need, keep the tools they depend on running and ship practical improvements.

Your work helps internal teams serve clinicians better, cuts manual effort and makes everyday workflows more dependable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run key automations across business systems such as HubSpot, Stripe, Customer.io, Intercom and internal tools.
  • Build reliable data pipelines and operational workflows, for example with n8n.
  • Connect third-party APIs and build internal tools that reduce manual work and show more of what is happening.
  • Prototype and ship solutions quickly with the GTM, Support, Finance and Product teams.
  • Keep critical workflows dependable by setting up alerts, error handling and logging for every automation.
  • Use AI coding agents to build and maintain software, and take responsibility for testing and reviewing their output.
  • Work with engineers on technical decisions and higher-risk changes, and build working knowledge of the business and product.

Requirements

  • You have built for real people and improved your work based on their feedback. Internal teams can count as your customers.
  • You have worked directly with internal users to find out what they need, built tools for them and refined those tools from their feedback.
  • You take projects from start to finish: you define requirements, make sound calls, report progress and blockers, ask for help when scope or risk calls for it, and keep the work running after launch.
  • You understand HTTP, REST APIs, JSON and authentication, and can learn an unfamiliar API from its documentation.
  • You have hands-on experience building in a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including workflows, properties, objects and integrations.
  • You write SQL and are comfortable with structured data, including spotting missing, inconsistent or duplicate records.
  • You can use AI coding agents, judge their output, test it and confirm it solves the user's problem.
  • Helpful but not required: experience with n8n, Make.com, Zapier or similar automation tools.
  • Helpful but not required: experience deploying a small application, writing tests or using monitoring to diagnose failures.
  • Helpful but not required: experience modeling data for analytics with dbt or a similar tool, or building reporting on sales pipeline and revenue metrics.
  • Helpful but not required: experience designing growth motions such as lead routing, outbound sequences or onboarding flows.
  • Helpful but not required: projects or working examples you can walk the team through.
  • Helpful but not required: experience in a high-growth startup.
