Agile Product Owner Level 4 (AHT)

Description

The company builds systems that are used around the world, and the team works across several locations on a program with multiple product lines, mainly written in Python.

You will be one of several Product Owners supporting a cross-functional discipline team, working in a fast-moving collaborative setting.

The role is Level 4 Agile Product Owner within the Space Systems Sector. You will define and rank the product backlog, line up stakeholder goals, and steer development teams toward high-value features delivered on schedule.

Relocation assistance may be available. Travel is 10% of the time. A Top Secret clearance is required before start.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Align the goals of stakeholders.
• Guide development teams to deliver high-value features on schedule.
• Motivate a large agile team that supports multiple products.
• Balance priorities when requests arrive from several customers.
• Break software requirements down into smaller parts.
• Debug code and run code peer reviews.
• Delegate work effectively.

Requirements

• Level 4: a bachelor's degree in science plus 8+ years of software development experience; or a master's degree plus 6+ years; or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree.
• An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the time you apply.
• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• A solid understanding of version control with Git and of workflows on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Proven success working with Agile processes.
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and/or Helm charts.
• Experience with Atlassian tools.

Conditions

Location: multiple sites, with travel at 10% of the time.

The base salary range is $135,800.00 to $213,400.00. Final pay depends on factors such as the scope of the role, your experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
