Description

The company is hiring a Vice President of Agentic AI Engineering for its GenAI Center of Excellence. The company's institutional investor clients rely on it to manage risk and performance, and this role supports that work through its agentic AI platform.

In this senior leadership role, you set the vision and architecture for multi-agent orchestration, security, and governance across the organization. You will shape technology direction company-wide, lead engineering talent, and encourage new work in agentic AI on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy for the enterprise agentic platform, covering architecture, technology roadmap, and governance standards, with an emphasis on scalability and resilience across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Work hands-on with agent frameworks such as LangChain, Langraph, and GoogleADK, and push multi-agent orchestration forward at scale.
  • Set and track company-wide standards for multi-agent orchestration, A2A protocols, human-in-the-loop controls, tenant IAM and RBAC, and runtime security on each cloud platform.
  • Represent the Agent Foundry and Runtime pods in executive and cross-functional governance forums, and influence cloud adoption and strategy.
  • Lead platform-wide work on reliability, scalability, and cost optimization for agentic AI workloads across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Grow engineering leaders across the pods.
  • Work with Architecture, Data and Knowledge, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end platform strategy and keep cloud and agentic stack choices aligned.
  • Champion technical excellence and current best practices for cloud-native agentic platforms, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee compliance, risk, and performance reviews for agentic AI across the organization, including public cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • 12 to 17 years of relevant experience, including leading large-scale multi-agent or AI-driven platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, plus familiarity with at least one other modern language such as Java, Go, or C++.
  • A proven record of owning platform architecture and technology roadmaps, with deep knowledge of agentic AI systems.
  • Extensive hands-on and leadership experience across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, including security, governance, and cost optimization.
  • A record of setting organizational standards for reliability, scalability, and incident management in AI systems.
  • Experience working with executive and cross-functional teams on platform strategy and delivery.
  • A track record of developing engineering leaders and encouraging innovation.
  • Expertise in compliance, risk management, and performance oversight for enterprise AI solutions.
  • Strong communication, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
