Description

Australia's largest private-sector industries are redesigning how they serve customers, run operations and handle disruption, across energy, resources, retail and technology.

As an Advisory Solution Consultant on the ANZ CRM & Industry Workflows team, you will help these organisations identify what they can achieve with the platform.

The role is hands-on and covers many industries. You will work with energy firms, utilities, miners, retailers, MSPs and tech companies, and each quarter brings new problems and new people to learn from.

You will join a team that supports growth through mentoring, industry enablement and belonging groups, and you are expected to strengthen the team's shared capability in return.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery and design engagements, turning business challenges into transformation strategies on the platform, such as field service modernisation for an energy company, customer engagement upgrades for a utility, or unified service channels for a retailer.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations that pair industry workflows with partner technologies, AI agents and automation. Set up demo environments, build lightweight proofs of concept, connect integrations and style portal experiences.
  • Work without a developer on hand when needed. Build working solutions and fix them when they break.
  • Build depth in your portfolio's industries as a credible voice. Create solution frameworks, reference architectures and go-to-market plays, learning each new sector quickly.
  • Work with Sales to plan account strategies and build relationships that make you a trusted advisor.
  • Engage Product Management, technology partners and consulting firms to represent customer needs and track market change.
  • Share best practices and build reusable assets for the wider pre-sales organisation. Learn from senior Solution Consultants and take on wider scope over time.

Requirements

  • Experience using AI in work processes, decision-making or problem-solving, or critically assessing how it could be applied. This can include AI-powered tools, workflow automation, interpreting AI-driven insights, or judging AI's effect on a function or industry.
  • 7+ years in pre-sales solution consulting, sales engineering or a similar technical advisory role, ideally in customer experience, operational transformation or digital service workflows.
  • Solid technical grounding: you understand how front-ends, back-ends, APIs and data connect well enough to build proof-of-concept integrations and spot failure points. Coding is not required, but you need the literacy to pick up new tools fast and work effectively with AI-assisted development.
  • Hands-on proficiency with the company, especially CSM, FSM and Industry Workflows, or equivalent depth in Salesforce, Pega, SAP or Dynamics. You must have built and configured solutions yourself.
  • Familiarity with at least one of: energy, resources, utilities, construction, mining, retail, technology/MSP or telecommunications. Willingness to learn new domains matters more than knowing all of them.
  • Experience applying AI and automation to business workflows, such as virtual agents, intelligent routing, process automation or AI-driven insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage technical teams and Chief Operating Officers alike.
  • A collaborative approach, disciplined pipeline management, and availability to travel across Australia as required.
  • Valued but not required: the company or related certifications, consulting, systems integration or buy-side experience, and a background in contact centre, field service or CRM transformation.
  • FD21

Benefits

  • The company is listed among Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For.
  • Work that influences how large organisations serve their customers, in a collaborative team rather than a competitive one.
  • Growth support through certifications, mentoring and peer networks.
  • Flexibility and trust in how you work, competitive base pay, variable incentives and equity, and room to apply your own thinking to varied problems.
