Description

The company builds the core services that let its products run advanced medical applications. This internship sits on the Advanced Visualization team.

You will work on new features, automated tests, verification campaigns, bug fixes and documentation. You will also get to own a small software component or UI widget and take it from design through to testing, with experienced engineers supporting you.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own, show initiative, and enjoy building for a real product while growing their technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced engineers and build your technical skills.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that meets project requirements and coding standards.
  • Build and maintain automated acceptance, functional and regression tests.
  • Help create, run and document manual tests.
  • Help find and fix software bugs.
  • Get to know the company's internal tools and development processes.
  • Help keep the project documentation high quality.
  • Learn from guidance and mentoring by senior team members.
  • Own a dedicated software component or UI widget, taking it from design through implementation and testing.
  • Complete well-defined development tasks independently, checking in with mentors and the wider engineering team when needed.
  • Contribute to frontend and user interface work for Advanced Visualization products.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university STEM program (science, technology, engineering or mathematics). The internship requires a minimum 12-month commitment, and an expected graduation date of 2027 or later is an advantage.
  • Available for at least 24 hours per week, up to 40 hours.
  • Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language.
  • Basic experience with Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Careful attention to detail, especially for code quality, testability, maintainability and documentation.
  • Resident in Hungary.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Interest in healthcare technology and advanced visualization.
  • Willing to work hybrid, with 2 days per week onsite at the company's Váci Greens office.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks and drive progress with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Comfortable with high-level requirements that need clarifying and that call for initiative.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, Java or C/C++, or the Windows SDK.

Conditions

Hybrid work: 2 days per week onsite at the Váci Greens office in Hungary.

Minimum 12-month commitment, with 24 to 40 hours per week.
