Responsibilities

• Work as a Software Engineering intern on the software and controls engineering team.
• Take part in the team's work across the internship period.

Requirements

• You must meet all of the following.
• You are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university, and you will stay enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
• Your major is a STEM degree in science, technology, engineering or math.
• You can work full-time, 40 hours a week, for at least 10 weeks in summer 2027.
• You can obtain and keep a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special access within a timeframe the company sets based on its business needs. U.S. citizenship is required.
• Preferred: a cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.0 or higher.

Conditions

The role is in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and relocation assistance may be available.

Travel is about 10% of the time.

No security clearance is needed to start, and the clearance type is Secret.

Bachelor's pay ranges from $24.25 to $30.50 per hour, and Master's pay ranges from $34.50 to $37.25 per hour.

Intern pay is standardized using your expected graduation date, the cost of labor in the location, and whether the internship is technical or administrative.

The general base salary range is $24.25 to $37.25, and final offers depend on the scope of the role, your experience, education, skills and market conditions.
