The company offers a cloud platform that helps organizations run the full quote-to-cash process, covering pricing, billing, collections, payments and revenue recognition, including highly complex pricing models.
Demand is shifting from one-time sales to recurring, usage-based and more complicated monetization, and AI and agents are changing how software is built and used. The company has a solid product base, long-standing enterprise customers and deep domain knowledge, and sees a chance to rethink the product experience for AI-driven, agentic software rather than only adding AI features.
The company is hiring a VP, Product Design to define the design vision for its next generation of product and a design model for an AI-native, increasingly agentic market.
This role suits a leader who wants to shape a product experience that is still open, not one who inherits a finished strategy. The job is about rethinking what the product becomes, not making current screens look better.
Highly desirable: experience designing AI-native or agentic experiences. Strongly preferred: experience in enterprise SaaS, complex workflow products, platforms or products for sophisticated business users.
Responsibilities
Set the design vision and point of view for how products should work in an AI-driven, agentic setting, moving beyond traditional interface design toward intent, assistance, automation and outcomes.
Question current assumptions about how customers use complex enterprise software. Decide when people should act directly, when AI should act for them, and how to balance automation, human control, transparency and trust.
Create design principles and patterns for agents that understand context, recommend actions, run workflows and act across quote-to-cash processes, so that agent behavior is clear, predictable and under the customer's control.
Work with product management, engineering, data and AI teams on a more integrated, iterative way of building products, built on experimentation, learning and measurable results instead of sequential handoffs.
Grow the design organization, its capabilities and its operating model for an AI-native company, setting high standards for interaction design, product thinking, systems thinking and customer experience, and encouraging experimentation.
Set design principles and systems that keep products consistent while letting teams move quickly, and simplify complex workflows so powerful enterprise features are easier to use and more intelligent.
Learn how customers work through direct engagement, research, observation and both quantitative and qualitative data, and make sure AI features solve real customer problems.
Define how the company handles trust, transparency, explainability, human oversight, permissions, errors and recovery in AI and agentic experiences, matching the confidence customers need when AI makes decisions or acts within critical business processes.
Act as a senior voice on customer experience and product strategy, bringing design into early strategic discussions and helping leadership see design as a source of differentiation.
Requirements
A strong record of leading product design organizations at sophisticated technology companies, with sound judgment on interaction design, customer experience and product strategy.
Proven experience leading design through major product or organizational change and building a compelling design vision that others adopt.
Highly desirable: experience designing AI-native or agentic experiences. You do not need a complete playbook for agentic enterprise software, but you should be able to help write one.
Strong experience working with product and engineering leaders, and comfort engaging with technology, architecture and how AI affects product design.
Ability to move between customer problems, product strategy, interaction models and technical constraints.
A view on how AI shifts the customer relationship with software, from navigating screens toward stating intent and getting outcomes, and how that should shape interaction models, information architecture, workflows, autonomy and human control.
Frequent time with customers, understanding complex enterprise workflows and turning those findings into product experiences.
Excellent communication and storytelling, so you can present a design vision that motivates designers, product managers, engineers and executives, and the executive presence to challenge thinking and build trust for change.
A record of hiring, developing and keeping strong design talent and building teams that combine creativity with accountability.
Strongly preferred: experience in enterprise SaaS, complex workflow products, platforms or products for sophisticated business users.
Comfort with ambiguity and a wish to help define what design and the product experience should become.
