This is a Vice President role in Product Marketing that reports directly to the SVP of Product Management. You will own the go-to-market growth strategy and its execution across the company's product lines. You will shape value propositions, positioning, and messaging for a global customer base, and work with executives in sales, marketing, product management, and support to launch new offerings through high-impact campaigns. The pace is fast, so you need to juggle many tasks and take pride in high-quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Work with company executives and the product management, sales, support, and marketing teams on go-to-market priorities, strategy, and delivery.
  • Alongside key stakeholders, define the company's value proposition and how it differs from competitors.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy by tracking market trends and customer needs, spotting new target markets, and building differentiated product strategies.
  • Manage the product marketing creative team and produce product marketing content yourself, setting priorities that drive customer acquisition.
  • Work with the Customer Success team to boost adoption through supporting materials and campaigns.
  • Lead the overall go-to-market work for new product releases and launches.
  • Use data to judge market viability and shape go-to-market plans for each product line.

Requirements

  • You have a proven record of creating and delivering compelling content and breakthrough product marketing programs, backed by a strong portfolio.
  • You have delivered results in high-growth, innovative, fast-paced settings.
  • You are fluent in Salesforce, analytics tools such as Tableau and Google Analytics, and project management software.
  • You understand the company's applications and cloud-based enterprise and SaaS products well.
  • You work methodically and can lead internal alignment through fast growth, ambiguity, and change.
  • You have strong executive presence and customer-facing skills, and you can manage a creative team and the wider product marketing function.
  • You are as comfortable with big-picture strategy as with detailed, hands-on creative work.
  • You lead and mentor people, collaborate well, and manage both teams and multiple projects. You have led cross-functional, global teams.
  • You are driven by metrics and ROI, and you can build KPIs, dashboards, and benchmark reports to measure results and make the case for effective product marketing.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant product marketing experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software, including go-to-market planning.
  • Experience building and managing teams of product marketers.
  • Experience guiding a company through late-stage startup growth.
