Value Engineer

Customers worldwide and their partners use it to get AI agents, people, systems and processes working together.

The Value Engineering team works with the largest Fortune 500 customers and manages their transformation from start to finish, using the latest data and AI capabilities. Working with Sales, the team makes sure the platform tackles high-priority business problems, fits into each customer's technology stack and delivers strong return on investment through wide, deep rollouts.

The role is based in Munich, Germany and New York City, USA, or at one of the company's more than 20 offices worldwide, depending on your location.

Responsibilities

• Find the real problems behind layers of organizational complexity, take ownership of outcomes from first discovery to realized return, and build executive-level stories about business value through workshops.
• Build executive sponsorship across key business units to drive transformation programs, share change management ownership with customer leaders, and design centers of excellence roadmaps that help customers run independently.
• Lead global transformations across several complex workstreams, use AI to plan accounts and manage projects, and automate executive governance meetings such as QBRs and SteerCos with little manual effort.
• Use AI tools to produce technical work quickly, work with Applied Value Engineers on detailed solution builds, and promote adoption of the platform.
• Create a strategic plan that expands the platform's use across the customer, and pass customer use cases back to R&D.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Value Engineering, Consulting or Pre-Sales, owning complex workstreams, process areas and customer relationships.
• Solid experience with enterprise IT and business software such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce or Oracle.
• You work mainly as an AI-fluent operator, using AI copilots to produce outputs and automations rather than heavy manual coding.
• You are comfortable setting your own direction within an account team and actively look for the highest-impact solutions that create customer value.
• Proven record of carrying out process improvements and realizing value from them.
• Demonstrated experience running multi-region or business unit transformation programs, with a track record of securing VP and Director-level sponsorship.
• Flawless English and a commanding executive presence.
• Deep knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain, with ongoing awareness of the business use cases that matter most.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a comparable technical field, or a Business or Economics degree with a technical minor.
