Position Summary...

The Accelerated Pickup & Delivery Assortment Strategy and Execution team drives the assortment selection strategy to implement and optimize automated solutions in store operations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Operations, Merchandising, and Replenishment, the team integrates current processes with automation technologies to enhance both customer and associate experiences. The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering, leads daily assortment execution, identifies root causes of challenges, and promotes continuous improvement. This team ensures alignment with strategic goals and compliance standards while leveraging data analysis, process improvement, and project management to deliver operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Role summary:
• The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems within the supply chain. This role leverages advanced data analysis and project management to optimize operational workflows and drive technology adoption. The position requires effective communication across teams to influence strategic decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives. The incumbent develops and presents data-driven insights, manages complex projects, and fosters operational excellence to enhance efficiency and cost performance in a dynamic environment.
• Lead the execution of the APD assortment strategy, including monitoring and analyzing performance to identify and resolve issues.
• Document processes, provide training to relevant stakeholders, and support change management efforts as the program evolves.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the assortment, leveraging data analytics and identifying new opportunities.
• Provide feedback on AI tool effectiveness and champion AI-driven processes.
• Ensure data quality for AI models, maintain transparency in AI-driven recommendations, and continuously upskill to maximize the value of AI in assortment execution.
• Own and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of execution initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

• Subject Matter Expertise in supply chain flows, store operations, or merchandising, with a solid understanding of assortment selection processes.
• Experience in documenting and training on new processes and supporting change management efforts.
• A proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business value.
• Experience leveraging data analytics and AI/ML tools to solve problems and optimize processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively present information and gain alignment across multiple stakeholders.

• The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
