Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and run functional automated and manual tests so the team delivers software that meets user needs.
• Keep learning new technologies and approaches while you work.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing, in automation or hybrid QA roles.
• Proficiency in Java programming fundamentals.
• Experience with Playwright for functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Basic knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methods.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail or Zephyr.
• Optional: experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Optional: exposure to cross-browser and responsive UI validation.
• Optional: familiarity with enterprise-level web platforms.
• Optional: taking part in sprint planning, story refinement and QA estimation.
• Optional: owning test planning and execution for assigned features.
• Optional: giving clear, actionable test results and defect reports.
• Optional: contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Optional: familiarity with maintaining test frameworks, environments and reporting tools.
