Technical Services Engineer - Onshape

The company has nearly 7,000 people worldwide. This role sits on the Onshape Post Sales Technical Services team, a specialist-level position.

You will support customers as a product expert, so you should bring 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or in close customer-facing support. Experience in the CAD/PDM space, whether at a reseller or directly with a vendor, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn the product thoroughly until you are an expert user.
• Answer product questions from customers.
• Grow the company's demonstration content library, which keeps expanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical CAD tools such as Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo or Siemens NX.
• Experience troubleshooting customer requirements and engineering processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with PDM or PLM products such as SOLIDWORKS PDM, Arena, Windchill, Autodesk Vault or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Preferred: experience with engineering software such as CAM, FEA/CFD or ECAD.

Conditions

The anticipated annual salary is $75,000 to $85,000. Final pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience and location, and reflects a good-faith estimate at the time of posting.

Candidates may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
