Technical Architect, Master Data

Description

The company is a large, Fortune 10 business in healthcare, known for insights, products and services that make care more accessible and affordable.

The team works on enterprise master data and is shaping how the company's health work is run, with room to grow, take ownership and propose new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution architecture for enterprise master data work covering material, vendor and customer master data.
• Set the target architecture, integration patterns, governance controls and roadmap for SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, BTP, AI-enabled tools and cloud platforms.
• Build and review business cases, covering value drivers, risks, dependencies and trade-offs in transformation.
• Work with stakeholders to redesign business processes and line up data strategy with enterprise priorities.
• Lead the architecture for large transformation programs, including cross-functional planning, sequencing and adoption.
• Produce architecture deliverables such as conceptual and logical data models, standards, reference patterns and decision records.
• Assess technologies, implementation approaches and vendors for scalability, compliance and operational efficiency.
• Shape team direction through clear communication, collaboration and structured problem-solving.

Requirements

• At least 4 years in data architecture, master data, solution architecture or a similar enterprise technology role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
• Experience with material, vendor and customer master data.
• Experience designing solution architecture for enterprise platforms, integrations and data governance.
• Strong analytical skills, including building or evaluating business cases.
• Experience leading or supporting large transformation programs.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data/analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and spoken communication, with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.
• Nice to have: consulting experience in business process transformation, operating model design or strategy.
• Nice to have: experience with SAP BTP, cloud-native architecture, AI-enabled solutions and integration patterns.
• Nice to have: work in regulated environments covering security, compliance, governance, lineage and metadata.
• Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise data modelling, ETL/ELT, orchestration and cloud platforms.
• Nice to have: experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional decisions.
• Nice to have: knowledge of cost, performance and scalability for modern data platforms.

Conditions

Pay is set by performance, experience and skills, equity, regular market reviews and location. The base pay range is €56,600 - €94,400.

An annual bonus or long-term incentives may be offered in addition to base pay.
