It suits students or recent graduates of a college, university or other accredited program, working toward an Associate, Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in any field.

You will support work tied to your field of study, such as research, team projects, problem solving and creative thinking, to build hands-on experience and professional skills.

The role can be an internship, a research position, a visiting scholar post or another program-linked opportunity.

  • Apply continuous integration and continuous testing practices within agile development teams.
  • Help engineers debug and maintain automation processes and tools.
  • Design, build and manage continuous integration pipelines, build and package management, and deployment scripts.
  • Attend team meetings, learn the project methods in use, and collaborate well with colleagues.
  • Keep learning new technologies and methods that bear on your work.
  • Complete tasks your supervisor assigns, on time and efficiently.
  • Join periodic reviews to report progress and act on feedback about your projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or a related technical field.
  • Have some familiarity with programming languages or technical tools relevant to the role.
  • Have basic programming or scripting skills, for example in Python, Java or C++.
  • Show a keen interest in high-tech and an eagerness to learn.
  • Communicate clearly and build good relationships with others.
  • Solve problems and analyse issues well.
  • Manage your time and meet strict deadlines.
  • Bring a collaborative, solution-focused approach and a sense of urgency.

Conditions

The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

The hourly base salary in Minnesota, United States, is USD 35.00 to 41.00.

Actual pay may differ based on location, experience, education, training or skill level.

Variable incentives may also be offered on top of base salary.

Typically you work during school breaks and then return to your university studies.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider applicants with criminal records as the law requires.

Benefits
