Description

The company runs the US BICES-X program, which shares intelligence on current and emerging global threats with mission and coalition partners and emerging nations.

The team is spread across locations and supports each combatant command directly, working on real-world problems in a cross-functional setting.

The Coalition Integration Lab at JB Langley-Eustis is the long-term intelligence sharing solution, making systems and tools available to trusted stakeholders in a distributed Coalition Shared Data environment.

The lab supports advancing the Initial Operating Capability of NATO Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and networks.
• Work with cyber security and network teams so systems integrate properly.
• Deploy, configure, and administer virtual machines in the vCenter infrastructure.
• Review vulnerability scans and fix the affected systems.
• Build and maintain temporary Active Directory domains for validation testing.
• Plan and lead operating system upgrades and design system improvements.
• Maintain baseline system images and VMware virtual machine templates.
• Write documentation for new and existing systems.
• Set system specifications, input/output processes, and operating parameters so hardware and software are compatible.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software problems.
• Handle warranty and support activities.
• Act as liaison with clients, attending meetings to make sure their needs are met.
• Keep up with relevant technology as assigned.
• Take part in special projects as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Hold a Secret clearance and be able to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• VMware experience.
• Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and PowerCLI.
• Experience with vendor relationships and cost estimation.
• Experience administering Windows Server domains.
• DoW 8570.1 IAT Level II compliant.
• Preferred, not required: Linux experience, highly desired.
• Preferred: MCSA/MCSE certification for Microsoft Windows.
• Preferred: VMware certification.
• Preferred: Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS) experience.
• Preferred: F5 BIG-IP experience.
• Depending on the job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI must currently be held.
• Experience with Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Windows, and VMware.
• Five-plus years of related experience.
• US citizenship required.

Conditions

Onsite work at JB Langley-Eustis (USA VA Langley AFB).

Scheduled at 40 hours per week.

Travel is less than 10%.

Salary range is $97,968 to $132,250. This is a likely range, not a guarantee; pay depends on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements, and may fall outside it.
