Description

The team is looking for a System Engineer to join Technical Product Management for the Sensor Signal Conditioner product line in the Cross Sensing Division.

The role calls for someone who thinks creatively, understands the market well, and wants to find new application areas that can grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Help define and develop technical products, from early concept evaluation through the design phase.
  • Work with cross-functional colleagues so customer requirements are understood, written down and built into the product.
  • Create, keep current and update Customer Requirement Specifications (CRS) and related system documents across the product development lifecycle.
  • Collect and analyze customer and market needs, then turn them into clear technical product specifications.
  • Talk directly with customers to learn their real pain points and help shape product solutions around them.
  • Build deep system knowledge so you can spot emerging application trends and assess future product opportunities.
  • Support innovation work: partner with research institutions, help run proof-of-concept projects, review publications and patents, and attend technical conferences.
  • Carry out technical competitive analysis with Application Engineering and Product Marketing Management.
  • Work closely with Design Engineering on NPI projects to produce an efficient, effective product definition.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in semiconductor technology and emerging market trends, and a drive to help shape future product generations.
  • A customer-focused team player who acts proactively, collaborates well and gets results.
  • Knowledge of sensor applications in industrial, automotive, medical and consumer markets. Experience with MEMS-based pressure sensing is highly desirable.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel within your country and internationally as needed.

Conditions

Travel is required on an as-needed basis, both domestically and internationally.

Equal opportunity employer; applicants are considered regardless of sex, race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • Pay is competitive and is supplemented by a benefits package. Details are shared during the hiring process.
