Responsibilities

  • Give day-to-day technical support to packing lines and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults and help get machines running again as quickly as possible.
  • Spot recurring equipment and process failures, run root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Help raise the efficiency, availability and overall performance of the packing lines.
  • Look for ways to reduce downtime, minor stops, waste and manual intervention.
  • Support improvements to packing processes, machine settings and technical standards.
  • Work closely with colleagues in production, maintenance, quality and engineering.
  • Help operators and shift teams solve technical problems.
  • Success means keeping the lines running steadily, resolving issues quickly, preventing repeat stoppages, and gradually improving equipment reliability and the safety, efficiency and stability of operations.

Requirements

  • Be a secondary technical school student in your final year looking for an internship, or study a relevant field at bachelor or master level, for example process engineering.
  • Have at least basic experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors or industrial equipment.
  • Speak and write both Czech and English.
  • Be able to work with MS Office, Power BI and AI tools.
  • Nice to have: experience in packaging, production, logistics or automated operations.
  • Nice to have: experience with labelling, scanning or conveyor systems.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Lean, TPM or RCA methods.

Conditions

The role is planned at about 20 hours per week under a DPČ (agreement to perform work).

The job includes attending the company's production plant in Kladno.

The number of days spent at the plant will be agreed with your manager during the selection process.

The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
