Lead APAC-based JDM and other partners from design reviews through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp, visiting on site at major milestones.
Work regularly with supply chain, strategic sourcing, production planning, quality, reliability, and regulatory or compliance managers to move programs from component sourcing through certification to general availability.
Weigh short-term engineering needs against long-term business goals, and report progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to everyone, including executives.
Set technical and product requirements for engineering teams, negotiate resources and priorities, escalate when needed, and find a way forward when situations are hard.
Bring together diverse, deeply technical teams to keep complex cross-functional programs moving and clear blockers early.
Find ways to make engineering faster and more predictable, and set delivery metrics that show progress to leadership.

5+ years working with engineering teams in technical program management, systems architecture, or software or hardware engineering.
5+ years managing the technical development lifecycle from concept to delivery, applying sound program management practices.
Experience managing APAC-based JDM, ODM, or contract manufacturing partners through the hardware NPI lifecycle, including on-site work during key program phases.
Experience shipping connected hardware paired with a subscription or cloud service, coordinating releases across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud teams.
Proven ability to run waterfall, stage-gate hardware schedules in Gantt, Smartsheet, or similar tools while working well with Scrum or other Agile software and cloud teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally to the APAC region and join partner calls held in the evening to cover time zone overlap.

Experience working with supply chain, strategic sourcing, production planning, quality, and reliability or regulatory teams on component sourcing, certification, and manufacturing ramp.
A record of leading executive-level program reviews and escalations across hardware, software, and manufacturing stakeholders.
Knowledge of IoT and security hardware, and comfort working across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud teams.
