  • Help shape modeling methods, architecture standards, and digital engineering practices.
  • Communicate technical insights, assumptions, risks, and recommendations clearly to engineers and leadership.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university and 12 years of related experience, or a master's degree in STEM and 10 years of related experience, or a PhD in STEM and 8 years of experience.
  • Experience applying MBSE to complex aerospace, defense, or advanced technology efforts.
  • Experience with SysML and UAF.
  • Experience in system architecture, requirements development, interface analysis, and technical decomposition.
  • Experience leading an Integrated Product Team of five or more people, with prior system integration work in labs and clouds across software and platforms.
  • Previous verification and validation experience.
  • Experience identifying risks, developing them, and driving mitigations to closure.
  • Experience with Agile methods.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to support business needs.
  • A current, active US Government issued Secret or higher security clearance, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
  • Preferred: an advanced degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: previous work on DoD military development and production programs.
  • Preferred: ability to work independently with minimal direction and to lead a team on larger test efforts.
  • Preferred: experience in research, advanced development, campaign, or early-stage concept work.
  • Preferred: a record of solving difficult technical problems with creativity, discipline, and urgency.
  • Preferred: experience contributing across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
