Description

The company builds an AI-native system that local business owners use to run and grow their business, starting with restaurants. It aims to replace the many separate tools owners rely on today, covering the restaurant website, online ordering, CRM, POS and more.

The product acts on the owner's behalf rather than leaving them to configure tools. It finds demand, turns it into orders and supports daily operations, and it gets better over time.

The team is in the low hundreds and draws on people from Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe. Headcount is expected to grow faster in 2026 to match customer growth.

Since 2020 the company has generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over $1 billion in online orders. About 1 in 5 Americans have used a website it built, and it has helped more than 20,000 restaurant owners save nearly $200 million in fees.

Restaurants come first, with plans to extend the system to other local business types. The company is remote-first and global, headquartered in San Francisco with a sales hub in Toronto. A few roles need in-person work at an office. Ask your recruiter about location for this role.

In-store is a major company initiative. The team built and launched the company's POS, kitchen display system and kiosk in under a year. The goal is to grow the POS and kiosk business past $100M+ ARR.

You would lead the full in-store offering as a product manager who owns both the product and the operating model for that business line. The role includes regular time in the field with large restaurant groups, and that contact feeds directly into product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Change restaurant software from reporting outputs to outcomes. Build screens that pull together what matters, explain why, suggest the next best step and make it simple to act.
  • Own the core experience for operators on mobile and desktop. Combine the daily workflows restaurants depend on, such as orders, guest issues, settings, performance and growth opportunities, into one coherent product.
  • Create personalized business guidance. Show restaurants what the company is doing for them, find the opportunities with the most impact, and deliver the right recommendation through the product, email, SMS, customer success and AI agents.
  • Grow unified guest and order management so restaurants can monitor, handle and resolve reviews, support requests, forms, order problems and operational exceptions quickly.
  • Turn proven operator and customer-success playbooks into personalized recommendations, one-tap actions and safe automation.
  • Design the permissions, confirmations, evaluation loops, rollback paths and failure handling that restaurants need before they trust the system with more important work.
  • Spend real time with owners and their teams in restaurants, in kitchens, over text and alongside support and success staff. Use what you learn to set product priorities, improve AI behavior and build tools that give operators real leverage.
  • Align product, design, engineering, data, AI, customer success and operations around the outcomes that matter most, even when the direction is unclear.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, or equivalent experience building products, with a record of shipping high-impact work.
  • You get close to the work before deciding what to build. That means visiting restaurants, watching live workflows, texting with operators, shadowing frontline teams and understanding how work really gets done.
  • You think in loops: signals, decisions, actions, then learning. You care about quality, trust and iteration in AI features.
  • You have strong product judgment and taste. You can cut cognitive load, simplify messy workflows and design products that feel obvious to busy people who are not technical.
  • You understand systems, data flows, integrations, permissions, reliability and tradeoffs, and you work well with engineers.
  • You focus on outcomes over features and can link product work to customer and business results, not only launches.
  • You set priorities and deliver well in a fast environment, balancing speed, correctness and long-term maintainability.
  • You can get opinionated stakeholders aligned, bring clarity to ambiguous problems and keep teams moving.

Starting base salary is estimated at $220K to $240K, plus a generous equity package before the company goes public.
