Description

The company is an AI infrastructure identity company that gives every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity while keeping engineering teams fast and secure.

The company is remote-first and globally distributed, and its customers include Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic.

The role is on the company Core Product team as a product-focused systems engineer.

The work covers performance, scalability, security, networking, and integrations with external systems.

You own the full product lifecycle: talking with customers about their problems, writing RFDs for proposed designs, then implementing, testing, and documenting the work.

The core project is open core, so most of the code you write will be open source and written in Go.

  • Design, develop, and ship high-quality products.
  • Write most of your code in Go.
  • Join one of the access teams, which build passwordless access to all kinds of infrastructure using short-lived credentials at the scale of the largest customers.
  • Improve observability, tracing, and failure handling so the access layer can be debugged at scale.
  • Build your technical skills.
  • Lead a distributed team of engineers.

  • Extensive Go experience.
  • Extensive experience building scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms.

  • Strong team leadership.
  • Engineering management experience.
  • Linux systems engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of identity management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies.
