Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guide the building of software that is sturdy, able to grow, and easy to maintain.
• Create responsive interfaces in React and TypeScript.
• Develop and tune fast backend services in C.NET and Node.js.
• Run infrastructure as code with Terraform across many AWS PaaS services.
• Design complex MSSQL database schemas and improve query performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to set requirements and project roadmaps.
• Promote good practice in code quality, testing, and CI/CD automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, and Material UI for modern frontend work.
• Strong skill in C.NET backend services.
• Hands-on MSSQL experience, including design and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with AWS or a comparable cloud provider.
• Working competence with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Solid grasp of modern software architecture and RESTful API design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and coding agents.
• Preferred: experience with containers (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Preferred: familiarity with serverless patterns.
• Preferred: strong background in unit, integration, and e2e testing frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with CI/CD tooling and scripting.

Conditions

Listed as a remote position.

Base salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 USD.

The company is hybrid, with offices in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Holmdel, NJ; and Verona, Italy.
