Sr Project Manager (Maternity Cover)

The Project Management team in the Post-Market Surveillance area drives business transformation to improve efficiency and growth. The team is hiring a Senior Project Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover contract to lead strategic cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects and initiatives, working mainly with headquarters in the US.
• Work with cross-functional teams to set project requirements and keep projects on track to succeed.
• Write and carry out an execution plan based on scope, timeline and available resources.
• Help the execution team clear blockers and manage dependencies between work streams.
• Keep stakeholders informed through clear communication and regular progress updates.
• Make sure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Measure project outcomes against established metrics and success criteria.
• Help raise PMO maturity by tightening project management standards, using digital tools, promoting best practices, and mentoring less experienced project managers to improve delivery consistency, skill growth and decision-making.

Requirements

• Manage stakeholders well.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills: explain your insights clearly, assess information and data to decide well, foresee obstacles and build practical plans to fix issues.
• Take on change proactively, lead change initiatives, tackle challenges in creative ways, balance several competing priorities, and carry out tasks with precision.
• Hold a PMP, PRINCE2 or related project or program management certification, or be working toward one.
• Typically hold a Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of related experience.
• Have experience managing large-scale programs in multinational organizations.

Conditions

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role.

Your main place of work is your assigned site, though you may work part of the week from a home office.

You must live within commuting distance of your assigned site, typically within an hour's commute.

Travel is 0-5%.

The monthly base salary is €3,768.33 to €4,876.67 gross. The final offer depends on your qualifications, competencies and professional experience.
