Description

The team is hiring a senior program manager for Translation, the company's creative solutions group. The company is independent and entrepreneurial, and it works as a business rather than a traditional ad agency. It combines expertise in culture, technology and storytelling to help brands grow in ways advertising alone cannot.

The company also runs a software and services platform for independent creators and operates a marketplace that connects artists and brands. It is backed by Alphabet, Andreessen Horowitz and Apple.

Responsibilities

  • Build scopes, timelines, budgets and delivery systems for programs of every size, from complex to simple, tailoring each approach rather than using one template.
  • Run internal and external meetings across each program's lifecycle, keeping key stakeholders, including Business Leadership and Production, closely aligned.
  • Present strategic and creative deliverables to day-to-day clients, and write contact reports for both internal staff and the client.
  • Plan talent allocations each week with the Group Engagement Director and Business Leadership so programs finish on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate internal teams, keep quality high, and tie each workstream back to the engagement's overall strategy.
  • Build a working knowledge of each client's business, industry, main competitors and audience demographics.
  • Support integrated ways of working by reinforcing team processes and handling documentation and communications.

Requirements

  • Work proactively and hands-on, take pride in your output, and stay results-driven and detail-oriented while caring about people, culture and creativity.
  • Communicate clearly, accurately and succinctly in writing and in speech, presenting ideas well.
  • Manage your time and organize several priorities under tight deadlines without lowering quality.
  • Stay persistent and diplomatic under pressure, approaching challenges with optimism and a focus on solutions.
  • Work comfortably across creative, production and strategy teams and with external partners to keep projects moving.
  • Know when to escalate challenges and opportunities to the right leads.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in a creative agency or similar communications setting, with a solid grasp of advertising, marketing, media, production and agency finance.
  • Understand how integrated campaigns move through their lifecycle across broadcast, digital, experiential and/or social.
  • Have supported or led calls with cross-functional agency teams and worked directly with clients.
  • Be fluent in Google Suite, especially Sheets and Slides, and have experience with resource management or workforce planning and with project planning tools.
  • Show strong curiosity and a real drive to learn and use AI tools.
  • Preferred: Have managed timelines and deliverables for creative and production workstreams directly.
  • Preferred: Have exposure to, or direct experience with, production processes.
  • Preferred: Have worked as a producer or account executive in an agency, with client-facing responsibility.
  • Preferred: Care about culture, innovation and helping brands show up meaningfully in the world.

Conditions

Based in Brooklyn, New York, with four days in the office and one day remote, as a hybrid role on Translation.

Pay is set for the NY and CA ranges, and the company uses a location-based pay strategy, so a role filled elsewhere may have a higher or lower range.

Individual pay depends on qualifications, experience level, skillset and balance with peers internally, and most hires are expected to land well within the range.

The company may hire someone less or more experienced than the posting describes, in which case the updated salary range will be shared with the candidate.

Benefits

  • Pay is one part of a wider package that can include bonuses, stock options and a 401(k) match, among other rewards.
