Description

The company provides wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking to individuals, families, corporations and institutions worldwide.

Founded in 1889, it has more than 135 years of financial experience and over 24,000 staff, whom it calls partners.

This role supports an AI-driven code security scanner that pairs frontier AI models with security automation to find, confirm and report software flaws across large enterprise codebases.

The work is long term: you will guide the platform's architecture and drive its continued development and enhancement.

The ideal person is equally at home building user interfaces, writing automation, integrating AI services and hardening cloud-native systems.

The company describes its culture as flexible and collaborative, with internal moves encouraged and senior leaders accessible. It also supports philanthropy, with employees giving time and skills to their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a lead technical developer for the code scanner platform.
  • Deliver modernization, enhancement and scalability work.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers on the team.
  • Improve reporting dashboards, workflow tools and admin features for the user experience.
  • Build secure login and access control patterns.
  • Maintain and extend the orchestration and scanning services.
  • Expand and manage connections to LLM-based security analysis tools.
  • Improve automated vulnerability analysis, reporting and verification workflows.

Requirements

  • You have 15+ years of professional work as a software engineer.
  • You have held a lead, principal or senior engineering role for 5+ years.
  • You have worked on large enterprise applications in regulated settings.
  • You have expert-level React skills and understand single-page application architecture.
  • You have experience with REST APIs and authentication integrations.
  • You have expert-level Python skills.
  • You can design and integrate APIs.
  • You have experience with automation and orchestration frameworks.
  • You have a strong background in test automation and quality engineering.
  • You have experience integrating large language models.
  • You have experience with agent-based workflows and automation frameworks.
  • You have a background in application security and vulnerability management.

Conditions

Base pay ranges from $164,600 to $288,000 USD. This range is a good-faith estimate of base salary.
