Description

The company helps businesses run subscription, usage-based, AI-driven and outcome-based models by launching products, automating complex billing and securing recurring revenue.

It has led the subscription economy for more than 10 years and is now building a quote-to-cash platform on an adaptable, AI-ready foundation.

The UI Platform team maintains the shared React and TypeScript component library and design system behind the customer-facing applications, aiming for consistent, accessible and modern UI across the product suite.

This senior frontend role helps evolve that platform, helps engineers work faster with AI through reusable workflows, and includes shipping feature code in customer apps.

Tech stack: React, TypeScript, Material UI (MUI) and Emotion, Vite, Vitest, Storybook, Chromatic, Playwright, GraphQL, single-spa micro-frontends, Web Components, Cursor and Claude Code.

You will work with designers, product managers and engineers across the US and Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Build reusable, accessible, well-tested React and TypeScript components and the tooling around them.
  • Ship UI for customer-facing apps, working on product features alongside platform work.
  • Own features from start to finish, using AI-assisted development to deliver high-quality UI quickly with little guidance.
  • Help shape the design system, covering tokens, theming, documentation, versioning and rollout across several application teams.
  • Work with Design on pixel-accurate, accessible builds, and with product teams on adopting shared components.
  • Review code from other teams and hold it to standards for quality, performance and accessibility.
  • Improve developer experience with Storybook documentation, automated and visual regression tests, and release tooling.
  • Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows, such as reusable skills, agents and automation, that help engineers ship consistent UI faster.
  • Use AI coding tools daily and help refine team practices around them.
  • Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the globally distributed team.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience, mostly front-end.
  • Expert-level React and TypeScript, with solid HTML, CSS and WCAG accessibility knowledge.
  • Experience building reusable, themeable component libraries with Material UI or a comparable library.
  • Experience with Storybook and automated testing, including unit and visual regression tests.
  • Working knowledge of design-system practice: tokens, theming, documentation and backward compatibility.
  • Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, and a sound grasp of AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD and package publishing.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, and the ability to collaborate across functions and time zones.
  • Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-moving setting, with a record of shipping quickly using AI tools without lowering quality.
  • Nice to have: experience building AI developer tools such as skills, agents or MCP servers, and evaluating their output.
  • Nice to have: experience with Web Components, micro-frontends or embeddable widgets.
  • Nice to have: background in enterprise SaaS, billing or financial systems.
  • Nice to have: experience building AI-powered user interfaces.
  • Nice to have: open-source contributions, internal tooling or technical writing.
