Your work days are brighter here.

We’re obsessed with making hard work pay off, for our people, our customers, and the world around us. As a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, we’re shaping the future of work so teams can reach their potential and focus on what matters most. The minute you join, you’ll feel it. Not just in the products we build, but in how we show up for each other. Our culture is rooted in integrity, empathy, and shared enthusiasm. We’re in this together, tackling big challenges with bold ideas and genuine care. We look for curious minds and courageous collaborators who bring sun-drenched optimism and drive. Whether you're building smarter solutions, supporting customers, or creating a space where everyone belongs, you’ll do meaningful work with Workmates who’ve got your back. In return, we’ll give you the trust to take risks, the tools to grow, the skills to develop and the support of a company invested in you for the long haul. So, if you want to inspire a brighter work day for everyone, including yourself, you’ve found a match in Workday, and we hope to be a match for you too.

You'll join the Customer Success Innovation team led by Stephanie Pellegrino. The CSI team is part of the CS CoE within Workday's Commercial Acceleration Global Revenue (CAGR) organization and is dedicated to driving customer success through strong program and product management practices.

As a center of excellence, the team exists to raise the bar for how Workday delivers customer success at scale. We build and continuously refine the practices, tools, and playbooks that our broader customer-facing organization relies on — turning what works in individual customer engagements into repeatable, scalable programs. We partner closely with product, sales, and customer success teams across CAGR to ensure customers get consistent, high-quality experiences as they adopt and expand their use of Workday. Clear, proactive communication is central to how we operate: we make sure the right information reaches the right stakeholders at the right time, so programs run smoothly and customers feel supported at every stage of their journey. Ultimately, the team's mission is to make customer success a repeatable, measurable discipline — not a matter of individual heroics — so that Workday's customers see continued value and growth from their investment.

About the Role

As a Sr CX Product Manager on the Customer Success & Solutions CoE, you'll play a key role in shaping how Workday delivers exceptional customer experiences at scale. Reporting to Stephanie Pellegrino, Sr Director of the CoE, you'll partner closely with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams across the CAGR organization to translate customer needs into scalable solutions and repeatable programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for key customer-facing initiatives — from solution planning and strategy development through execution and measurement of impact
  • Identify both internal and external customer needs and pain points, and translate them into clear value propositions and actionable plans
  • Act as a customer advocate internally, ensuring the voice of the customer informs product and program decisions
  • Drive strategic alignment across cross-functional partners, using strong business acumen and influence to prioritize the highest-impact work
  • Bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset to ambiguous, evolving challenges — using data analysis and domain knowledge to guide decisions
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to keep programs moving and stakeholders aligned
  • Continuously look for ways to improve operational efficiency and scale what works across the broader customer success motion
  • VISA Sponsorship is not available for this role

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in product or program management, ideally within a customer success, CX, or SaaS environment
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience data-driven mindset, using data analysis and domain knowledge to prioritize the highest-impact work and back up your recommendations
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with business acumen and influence — you can align cross-functional stakeholders (product, engineering, sales, customer success) around a shared plan, even without direct authority
  • Minimum 1 year of AI Tools, for example (Gemini, Claude, Sana)
  • Other Qualifications
  • You're skilled at product lifecycle and solution planning — you can take an ambiguous customer problem and turn it into a clear, actionable strategy
  • You're naturally customer-obsessed — identifying unmet needs, translating them into value propositions, and advocating for the customer internally
  • Proactive problem-solver who's comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity for others
  • You build strong relationships easily and know how to get things done through people, not just process
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution — equally at ease setting direction and rolling up your sleeves

  • Our Approach to Flexible Work
  • With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
  • Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
  • Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals during our application process, in order to perform one or more essential functions of their job, as well as regarding the use of AI tools for employment decision-making to any degree. Please see below for more details including how to request an accommodation as a qualified veteran, due to a disability or for religious reasons, or as otherwise provided under applicable law.
  • Workday prohibits taking adverse action against any candidate or employee for reporting a possible violation of this policy, requesting one or more work accommodations, exercising a privacy right, or cooperating in an investigation in accordance with applicable law. Any employee who retaliates against a candidate or employee for doing so may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, to the fullest extent allowable under applicable law.
