Many of the apps on your phone are built by customers in the company's Digital Natives and Startups segment, which run their businesses on the platform.

You will help customers solve complex data problems by showing how the platform fits their needs.

The team is collaborative and customer-focused, and builds tailored solutions so customers can reach their goals.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with clients across your assigned territory, delivering technical and business value alongside Account Executives.
• Win client enthusiasm through hands-on evaluations and coding, connecting the platform to the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
• Become a trusted advisor and champion on architecture, design and implementation, so customers adopt the platform successfully.
• Take part in workshops, seminars and meet-ups to grow the technical community.
• Write reference architectures, how-tos and demo applications for customers.
• Deepen your expertise until you reach the level of a technical or industry specialist.

Requirements

• Lead technical sales conversations, handle hard questions, drive toward clear outcomes and explain technical and business value.
• Guide customers in a structured way.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, and partner with account executives and other internal teams.
• Have coded in a core language such as Python, SQL or Java, and be willing to learn a base level of Spark.
• Be proficient in big data analytics, with hands-on experience running complex proofs of concept and on one or more public cloud platforms.
• Discover use cases, scope them and design complex solution architectures for varied audiences, switching technical depth as needed.
• Have at least 7 years in pre-sales, solution consulting or similar customer-facing technical roles, including pre-sales experience.
• Be fluent in German and English at minimum.

Conditions

Based in the Munich or Berlin region, or within commutable distance for a hybrid schedule.
