Description

The company builds premium hardware, software and cloud-connected platform experiences for music and audio, used in millions of homes. The product team wants managers who care about small details as much as the larger picture.

This 11-week internship runs from June 7 to August 20, 2027, for students who want to combine creativity, technology and sound. Interns bring fresh ideas, learn from experienced staff and help push what is possible.

You will work on a cross-functional team with software engineers, product managers and user experience designers, focused on the foundational parts of the system that keep it high quality and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and build product features and capabilities within a cross-functional team.
  • Learn a key customer problem or opportunity, then work with PMs, UX and engineering to define and deliver a solution.
  • Run basic data analysis, customer research and user feedback synthesis to inform decisions and check how launched features perform.
  • Help write user stories, functional requirements and product specifications for software features in the ecosystem.
  • Manage and rank a feature backlog under a Senior Product Manager so it fits product goals and business priorities.
  • Use AI tools for research synthesis, spec drafts, data analysis and other daily PM work, and experiment to improve your own workflow.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university, ideally studying computer science, business, engineering, economics or an equivalent field.
  • Write clearly and explain findings and recommendations in short, plain language.
  • Work comfortably in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Drive to organize and compare information.
  • Be eager to learn from people across teams.
  • Use AI tools hands-on in PM work and keep learning more about them.
  • Work well in a lean team where you set priorities and find your own way through problems.
  • Be low-ego and easy to work with: accept feedback and learn from senior teammates.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college or university in a related field.
  • Able to work from the Seattle office a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to build, automate or solve a problem, from class, work or your own projects.
  • Preferred: exposure to SQL or Snowflake, or comfort working with large amounts of data.
  • Preferred: coursework or projects in marketing, consumer behavior or research methods.
  • Preferred: a passion for music, audio technology and exceptional customer experiences.

Conditions

Work period runs from June 7 to August 20, 2027, as part of the co-op program.
