Description

The company is building AI products around customer success, and the team works on architecture, design, implementation and testing, with careful prompt engineering to make AI output reliable.

The team writes maintainable, high-quality code, makes its own decisions and helps each engineer grow.

Candidates should apply for no more than 3 roles within 12 months so their efforts do not overlap.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and run features across the product, from recording capture through transcript handling, insight generation and customer-facing screens.
• Write backend services, APIs and event-driven flows that stay reliable at enterprise scale in a multi-tenant setup.
• Build frontend work in modern JavaScript and component frameworks, including Lightning Web Components where they fit.
• Handle large volumes of conversation, recording, transcript and insight data safely and efficiently.
• Plan for security, privacy, compliance, data residency, observability and operational readiness from the start.
• Apply test-driven development and contribute unit, integration, functional, performance and end-to-end test coverage.
• Use CI/CD tooling and current engineering practices to ship production software safely.
• Monitor production, diagnose complex distributed-system failures and improve reliability and supportability.
• Join architecture and code reviews, judging human- and AI-written code for correctness, maintainability, security, accessibility and performance.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or Cursor to speed up development, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Write clear system context, covering architecture decisions, operating constraints, coding standards and runbooks, so engineers and AI workflows can both work well.
• Work with Product, Design, Security, Privacy, Site Reliability and partner engineering teams to deliver outcomes customers can trust.

Requirements

• A related technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of backend software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented languages such as Java, C++, Go, C, Ruby, Scala, Python, Node.js or JavaScript.
• Broad knowledge of web API standards such as REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP and JSON.
• Experience with Spring, gRPC, REST and the HTTP protocol.
• Experience with Agile development methods.
• An AI-first approach to engineering: you use AI to move faster, learn across the stack and contribute beyond your core specialty.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or Cursor in development workflows.
• Advanced prompt engineering: you write precise, structured prompts and build system context that makes AI output reliable, secure and production-ready.
• Willingness to join the team's on-call rotation to resolve complex problems in real time and keep services running and highly available.
• Even Better If: experience with conversation intelligence, audio or video recording, transcription, media processing or meeting-platform integrations.

Conditions

Hybrid work model, with Office-Flex: 10 days per quarter.
