Description

The company is an AI robotics firm building an autonomous supply chain for fast, efficient, low-cost commerce. It is training robot AGI for a general-purpose supply chain superhumanoid that should handle thousands of tasks across logistics.

The company has raised over $220M at a valuation above $1B and has a strategic alliance with FedEx to build a national network of autonomous warehouses expected to bring in many billions in yearly revenue.

The team is made up of highly skilled engineers and operators working at high intensity and pace, taking ownership and getting hard problems solved. The company's stated goal is to build robots that take over menial work, starting with factories, warehouses and last-mile delivery.

  • Set the standard for engineering practice by writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code and holding high standards in code review.
  • Coach other engineers and help improve team processes and technical standards.
  • Run or take part in design reviews, code reviews and technical planning, often leading them.
  • Take a turn on the on-call rotation to diagnose and fix production problems.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
  • A habit of teaching yourself and continually improving.
  • Strong skill in at least one of Rust, Python or C++.
  • Solid grounding in backend services, distributed systems, data modeling and API design.
  • A record of designing systems that scale and leading complex technical projects.
  • Clear communication and the ability to work across teams.
  • Experience with an observability stack such as OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and production systems.
  • Experience building internal developer platforms, tooling or workflow systems.
  • Exposure to automated environments such as warehousing, manufacturing or logistics.
