Software Engineer, AI Agents

Description

You will join a product engineering group that builds AI tools for data and marketing work.

The role covers testing new product concepts, shaping the AI architecture behind them, and moving promising prototypes into production.

Responsibilities

• Quickly build AI prototypes to test new ways of supporting data and marketing tasks.
• Partner closely with a compact group and senior leadership to design and launch product ideas.
• Choose AI architectures and frameworks, and decide which language models suit which jobs.
• Build production data agents that answer analytics and data science questions using company data.
• Study how users work and design AI-assisted product flows that feel smooth.

Requirements

• Between 5 and 12 years of software engineering experience on core products.
• Solid backend design skills and product sense, plus the speed to prototype and the rigor to ship production systems.
• Hands-on experience building sophisticated AI applications and applying machine learning in product or engineering settings. Direct LLM experience is welcome but not required.
• Background at a high-growth startup or growth-stage company, preferably in a fast-moving product engineering environment.
• A record of taking on wider scope over time, including building products from the first idea through later iterations.
• Strong grounding in computer science or mathematics and familiarity with AI concepts.

Conditions

Base salary of $200,000 to $320,000 per year.
