Site Reliability Engineer Leads

Description

The company seeks Site Reliability Engineer Leads in Jacksonville, FL to maintain, deploy and analyze a new UI and services product built in-house.

You will work alongside the development group, project managers, professional services, and the network, security and server OS support teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of Unity and related products onto new virtual servers.
• Deploy and maintain Unity across UAT, production, preproduction, test and performance environments.
• Open and manage technical cases with hardware and software vendors until problems are resolved.
• Solve complex problems in multi-tiered applications using analytical methods.
• Troubleshoot issues with Wireshark and browser developer tools.
• Apply broad knowledge of technology to automation software.
• Run diagnostics to find the root cause of issues.
• Plan and carry out disaster recovery tests.
• Give Development feedback on what needs improving for serviceability.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree, or a foreign equivalent, in computer science, information technology, computer and information science, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in this role or a related occupation, including: SQL Server database work supporting the tenant database for Decisions workflow and the Unity Macrim applications; configuring external security with IDP/SSO and a WAF for the internet-facing Unity and UFI applications; Windows Server 2016 and 2019 with Windows security; IIS and Apache reverse proxy supporting Unity, Global Office, BBGP and UFI; load-balanced applications for high availability across Unity, Global Office, BBGP and UFI.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in the fields above with 3 years of experience in the listed skills is accepted.
