The role leads complex, cross-functional planning and execution for the GSI directorate across all portfolios, including GSI and IFC1.0.

You will own the replan and the baseline work that follows OmniMod, with integrated cost, schedule and technical performance as the target.

You will also lead a dedicated team running IIR4 and IBR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the program replan and set the post-OmniMod performance baseline, keeping a clear trace from scope to schedule and budget.
  • Direct a cross-functional team through IIR4 and IBR, covering readiness, artifacts, action closure and executive briefings.
  • Build and maintain the IMP/IMS, and run schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis and baseline change control.
  • Oversee EVM work, including variance analysis, corrective actions and monthly performance reports.
  • Work with engineering, finance, contracts and supply chain to align cost, schedule and technical baselines across GSI and IFC1.0.
  • Manage risks, issues and opportunities through mitigation plans and decision forums that protect scope, schedule and cost.
  • Set up and run recurring rhythms: IPTs, CAM forums, baseline control boards and executive reviews.
  • Act as the main contact for GSI directorate leadership and customer stakeholders, keeping communication open and commitments met.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policy, customer requirements and program management standards at every stage.
  • Coach junior program staff and IPT leads on scheduling, risk and replan practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience in program management, schedule replan or restructuring, or systems integration; or a Master's degree plus 6 years, or an additional 4 years of related experience in place of the degree. GN&C domain experience is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager.
  • Experience leading multi-IPT replan or restructure work and resolving complex schedule and cost integration problems.
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera P6, schedule analysis and integrated master schedule practice.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and coordinating with EVM teams.
  • Experience in program execution, staffing, engineering metrics and training resources, processes and tools.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance within scope, plus the ability to obtain and keep Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
  • Nice to have: proven ability to identify and drive mitigation for risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Nice to have: EVM certification.
  • Nice to have: strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce executive-level briefings and lead cross-organization decisions.
  • Nice to have: STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a Master's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or a related discipline.
  • Nice to have: prior work on aerospace or defense GN&C programs and the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Nice to have: cost estimating and cost trade analysis.
  • Nice to have: 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • Nice to have: active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Nice to have: people and technical leadership roles.
  • Nice to have: 2 years of program control experience (IMS, EVMS), budgeting and staffing.
  • Nice to have: experience managing suppliers.
  • Nice to have: experience across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, especially requirements validation and verification.
  • Nice to have: Model-Based Systems Engineering with DOORS or Cameo tools.
