Description

Based in Budapest, this role helps product teams make confident, customer-focused choices by finding out what users need, what motivates them, how they behave, and where the opportunities lie.

You will sit inside one of the company's key client teams and shape how research feeds into digital products and services, from exploring AI adoption to building journey-based product thinking.

You will design and run studies, pull results together, and present insights so product managers, designers and other stakeholders can act on them. You will also help improve the research practice itself through better methods and tooling, and by keeping user needs visible across the team. The company is a Growth Invention firm that works at the intersection of technology and marketing for ambitious brands.

Responsibilities

  • Frame research questions so teams explore a problem before committing to a solution.
  • Plan and run research, from early discovery work to usability tests and concept validation.
  • Analyse findings, write up insights, and share them in formats that guide product and design decisions.
  • Work day to day with designers, product managers and developers in cross-functional teams.
  • Help define research standards and working methods that hold up across teams and topics.
  • Bring structure, methods, tools and best practice into the research process.
  • Promote evidence-based, journey-driven product development.
  • Keep learning new methods and share what you learn to grow the research culture.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of user research experience, ideally at an agency and in agile, product-led settings.
  • Solid experience running and analysing studies, including usability tests, interviews and concept validation.
  • The ability to turn research into clear findings that designers, product managers and stakeholders can act on.
  • Keeping up with new tools, methods and technologies and bringing fresh ideas into the team.
  • Working knowledge of journey mapping and experience frameworks, and a wish to use them in real product work.
  • Comfort facilitating sessions, speaking with users and contributing to product strategy.
  • A self-starting approach: you add structure, push the practice forward and enjoy hands-on work.
  • English at working proficiency.
  • German is a strong plus.

Conditions

Based in Budapest with a hybrid work model: 5 days in the office per month.

Benefits

  • Clear career development paths and transparent pay.
  • Supplemental and additional health insurance.
  • A third-pillar pension fund.
  • A referral bonus programme.
  • A health contribution through the OpenUp platform and a multisport programme.
  • Training, development and certification support.
  • Work with clients of every size and scope, from local to global, and celebrate successes together.
  • A supportive, healthy company culture.
  • B Corp certified since 2021.
  • An annual Cares Month, when employees donate their skills to local charities.
