Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed for demanding operating environments.

The team combines engineering work with multi-domain systems across autonomy, propulsion and secure cyber platforms.

The role centres on verification of the Gambit platform, covering subsystem and system-level strategy, automated test rigs and qualification campaigns that produce evidence for customer acceptance and airworthiness certification.

Responsibilities

  • Design automated verification test fixtures and environmental stress screening setups.
  • Write detailed test plans with quantitative pass/fail criteria, and lead structural, thermal and vibration test campaigns.
  • Lead environmental qualification testing covering vibration, shock, thermal cycling and ingress protection under MIL-STD-810H and DO-160G.
  • Turn experimental DAQ measurements into formal verification reports for the upcoming TRL 8 gate review.
  • Maintain traceability from each engineering requirement to a test method and verification log.
  • Coach test staff on measurement methods, sensor calibration, DAQ setup and lab safety.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of test engineering, V&V or hardware qualification experience on aerospace, automotive or defence hardware.
  • Hands-on expertise with DAQ hardware such as National Instruments, Dewesoft and LabVIEW, and with sensors including accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells and thermocouples.
  • Test automation scripting in Python (PyTest, NumPy) or LabVIEW.
  • Experience with environmental testing standards MIL-STD-810H, RTCA/DO-160 and STANAG.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • NATO citizenship.
  • Send your CV in English.

Conditions

You must be able to obtain and keep the security clearance required for the role; details are shared during recruitment.

Due to the defence sector nature of the work, this applies to all candidates.

Equal opportunity: applications from all genders are welcome.

Benefits

  • Your work directly protects personnel and supports European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside leading specialists in autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • The team works at a fast pace and collaborates closely, with serious R&D funding behind new ideas.
