Description

The company makes a fixed asset management product, and this role owns its strategy, roadmap and full lifecycle. You will weigh customer needs, business goals and new technology while building Fixed Assets into a connected part of firm workflows and advisory work.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, roadmap and investment priorities for Fixed Assets, and explain its direct customer value as well as its value across the tax and accounting ecosystem.
  • Learn how fixed asset work actually runs, including the buyers, users, reporting needs and day-to-day operations of accounting firms. Test problems against evidence and turn findings into measurable product outcomes.
  • Track market trends, competitors, emerging technologies and new evidence that should shape the product's direction.
  • Manage product backlogs, release plans and roadmaps so they match strategic goals and what delivery teams can realistically take on.
  • Work with practitioners, UX, design, engineering and specification-driven teams to set priorities, sharpen requirements and ship high-quality solutions.
  • Spot delivery constraints, plan mitigations and escalate when needed. Keep teams aligned on priorities, tradeoffs, risks, commitments and outcomes.
  • Define and track product performance indicators, combining qualitative and quantitative insight to improve the product, guide investment and support launch, adoption and retention.
  • Connect Fixed Assets workflows and data across the CCH ecosystem, using AI, automation, analytics and intelligent workflows where customer evidence and measurable value support them.
  • Push for scalability, usability, performance and operational efficiency from discovery through development and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of enterprise software product management or similar industry experience, including owning strategy, roadmaps and cross-functional delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, and experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or comparable tools.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation and reporting, with experience in fixed asset management, depreciation, tax or accounting software.
  • Preferred: Experience with Jobs to Be Done or a similar customer-discovery method.
  • Preferred: Understanding of AI and generative AI concepts, and the ability to use AI in discovery, experimentation, planning and execution.
  • Strategic product leadership: building evidence-based strategies around validated customer and market problems, and turning them into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Systems leadership: finding cross-functional constraints, clearing bottlenecks and creating shared accountability without depending on formal authority.
  • Communication and influence: explaining strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, risks and recommendations clearly to executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Commercial orientation: linking product decisions to customer value, adoption, retention, differentiation and business results.
  • Curiosity: building domain depth, testing assumptions and changing course as evidence changes.

Conditions

Pay range is $85,600.00 to $149,400.00 USD, based on the position's primary location. The actual base salary depends on factors such as skills, experience and the hiring location, and your recruiter can confirm the offer for your location.
