Description

The company is a publicly traded medical technology firm working to improve how coronary artery disease is diagnosed and managed. The disease is the number one cause of death worldwide.

Its AI-based, non-invasive cardiac tests follow ACC/AHA chest pain guidelines. They produce a color-coded 3D model of a patient's coronary arteries that shows how blockages affect blood flow to the heart.

The platform covers the full CCTA pathway: locating narrowings in coronary arteries, measuring coronary blood flow, and characterizing and quantifying atherosclerotic plaque.

The company is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, is recognized internationally and supported by medical societies worldwide, and has been used on more than 750,000 patients. Its product line and team are both growing.

This senior role leads large cross-department projects of varying complexity and acts as the authority on project management methods and production release. You will work closely with several teams on schedules and deliverables while following the design controls process strictly. You will work at a strategic level across multiple complex projects, guide release activities, and mentor people across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for complex projects that span several functions.
  • Plan, coordinate, run and deliver these complex cross-functional projects in detail.
  • Find workflow bottlenecks and build automation that cuts manual effort and improves efficiency.
  • Spot cross-team dependencies early, reduce risk before it appears, and keep releases on track.
  • Hold people accountable, set clear performance goals, address performance problems, and keep teams engaged across several major initiatives.
  • Keep the company ready for FDA audits, covering design controls, software validation and the newly effective QMSR standard.
  • Lead audit follow-ups and run the audit process for medical-grade certifications.
  • Administer Jira for controlled spaces, keeping full traceability from requirements through verification in line with IEC 62304.
  • Advise product development teams on good practice and speak for advanced project management methods.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-first initiatives in engineering work, tracking industry trends to raise developer productivity.
  • Choose the methods, techniques and evaluation criteria yourself, often working from broad direction on new work and needing only occasional oversight.
  • Make sure projects match the strategic goals and program objectives set by program leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field.
  • 5+ years working as a TPM, project manager or release manager in a software development organization.
  • Proven ability to build detailed plans for complex software projects, identifying, managing and communicating items, dependencies and risks, even with limited input.
  • Proven ability to use AI agents, LLMs and low-code/no-code tools to quickly build automation that replaces manual workflows and streamlines internal tooling.
  • Proven experience managing audits such as SOC2 and ISO 27001, and using the tools that support them.
  • Advanced Jira administration skills, including workflow customization and permission management.
  • Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights using process metrics and tracking tools.
  • Strong skill coordinating across diverse technical teams and turning platform needs into business value.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, tailored to audiences from technical teams to senior management.
  • Excellent organization, with the ability to prioritize well across several complex projects and deadlines and a close eye for detail.
  • Strategic problem solver who anticipates, reduces and handles risks and impediments.
  • Team player who influences, negotiates and builds consensus across teams and stakeholders.
